DiamondHero respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the DiamondHero mobile application, web application, website, and related services.
DiamondHero is designed to help parents, guardians, coaches, and authorized users track baseball and softball statistics, create athlete profiles, generate player reports, and create customized athlete images using artificial intelligence tools.
By using DiamondHero, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect: name, email address, password or authentication credentials, subscription status, app settings, and parent/guardian contact information, if provided.
Athlete Profile Information
When you add an athlete, we may collect: athlete name, athlete photo, age or birth year, graduation year, team name, jersey number, sport, position, batting and throwing preference, game statistics, tournament names, opponents, game dates, and notes entered by the user.
Game and Performance Data
DiamondHero allows users to enter and save game-related data, including at-bats, hits, walks, home runs, RBIs, runs, strikeouts, pitching statistics, fielding statistics, game history, and season and all-time statistics.
Photos and AI Image Information
If you upload an athlete photo or generate a custom athlete card, we may collect and process uploaded athlete images, generated athlete card images, prompt information used to create AI images, and customization choices such as style, theme, colors, team name, player name, number, and statistics.
Payment Information
If DiamondHero offers subscriptions, in-app purchases, or premium features, payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers unless specifically stated by the payment processor.
Device and Usage Information
We may collect technical information such as device type, browser type, operating system, app usage activity, log data, IP address, crash reports, feature usage, and approximate location based on device or network data, if enabled.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage user accounts, allow users to add and manage athletes, track live and finalized game statistics, calculate season and all-time stats, generate athlete cards and reports, personalize the app experience, provide customer support, process subscriptions or purchases, improve app performance and features, detect misuse, fraud, or security issues, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Children’s Privacy
DiamondHero is designed primarily for use by parents, guardians, and authorized adults who manage athlete profiles.
Because athlete profiles may include information about children, users must only upload or enter information for athletes for whom they are the parent, legal guardian, coach with permission, or otherwise authorized adult.
If an athlete is under 13, the parent or legal guardian must provide consent before entering that child’s personal information, photos, or stats into DiamondHero. COPPA imposes requirements on online services directed to children under 13 or services that knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
DiamondHero does not knowingly allow children under 13 to create their own accounts without appropriate parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

4. AI-Generated Images and Accuracy Disclaimer
DiamondHero may allow users to create AI-generated athlete images, player cards, profile graphics, and related visual content.
AI-generated images may not always be accurate. They may alter facial features, change uniform details, misrepresent team colors, add incorrect text, distort jersey numbers, misspell names, generate unrealistic or inaccurate sports elements, or produce images that do not perfectly match the uploaded photo.
Users are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated images before saving, sharing, downloading, posting, or using them publicly.
DiamondHero does not guarantee that AI-generated images will be accurate, error-free, appropriate, or suitable for every purpose. If an AI-generated image is inaccurate, inappropriate, or unwanted, the user should discard it, regenerate it, or delete it.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate DiamondHero, such as cloud hosting providers, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics providers, customer support tools, AI image generation providers, and email or notification services. These providers may only access information as needed to provide services to DiamondHero.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of DiamondHero, our users, athletes, or others.
6. AI Service Providers
When users generate AI images, uploaded photos and prompt data may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. Depending on the provider, these services may process images and prompts temporarily to generate the requested content. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to work with providers that maintain appropriate security and privacy protections. Users should not upload images or personal information unless they have the right and permission to do so.
7. User-Generated Content
Users are responsible for the content they upload, enter, generate, save, or share through DiamondHero. This includes athlete names, photos, team names, stats, notes, reports, and AI-generated images. Users must not upload unlawful, offensive, abusive, misleading, or unauthorized content.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide DiamondHero services, maintain user accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Users may request deletion of their account or athlete data by contacting cardlabapp@gmail.com. Some information may remain in backups or legal records for a limited period after deletion.
The FTC recommends that apps minimize data collection and tell users about sensitive or unexpected data collection; DiamondHero should follow that principle by only collecting information needed to operate the app.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user information. However, no app, website, database, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials private.
10. User Controls
Users may be able to edit account information, add, edit, or delete athlete profiles, edit or delete game history, delete uploaded photos, delete generated images, cancel subscriptions, and request account deletion. To request help, contact us at cardlabapp@gmail.com.
11. Sharing Reports and Athlete Cards
DiamondHero may allow users to share athlete reports, player cards, images, or profile links. Users are responsible for deciding what information to share and with whom. Before sharing a child’s information publicly or with coaches, scouts, teams, or social media platforms, users should carefully review the content and confirm they have the proper permission.
12. California and Other State Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain privacy rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or limit use of personal information.
California’s privacy law includes special rules regarding the sale of personal information of children under 16, including requirements for affirmative authorization in certain circumstances. 13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by email, in-app notice, or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of DiamondHero after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
